Sheldon Zimmerman is an Enrolled Agent and works on the tax team at Gehman Accounting. He has college credits in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Individual Income Tax from Lebanon Valley College. He enjoys working with farmers and preparing their tax returns. In addition to tax planning and preparation, Sheldon assists the bookkeeping and QuickBooks support departments.
Sheldon worked in a furniture manufacturing shop for 15 years before transitioning into the purchasing and customer service departments. During this time, he discovered his love for accounting. He held this position for six years before seeking a tax accounting job. Sheldon worked for Weaver Accounting for three years while taking a college accounting course in the evenings. He transferred to Gehman Accounting in 2013 and became an Enrolled Agent in 2017.
Sheldon’s life goals include a willingness to learn new things and reach for greater knowledge. He highly values the Christian character traits of humility, integrity, and diligence.
Sheldon and his wife Maria adopted four children. Sheldon is active in teaching Sunday School and being a church song leader. Outside of tax season, he enjoys the diversion of commercial bus and truck driving.
