Steve Miller works on the business advising and sales teams at Gehman Accounting. Steve inspires confidence in his clients by “helping them to understand that the way they were created is perfectly suited for why they are on the earth.” Steve strives to listen empathetically to his clients’ pain points and enjoys problem-solving and collaboratively finding solutions.
Steve’s varied life experiences have prepared him well to be a business advisor. The son of parents who were missionaries, Steve lived in Belize until age 10. Steve has been with Gehman Accounting since 2018. Prior to that, he was in the landscaping industry for 25 years, having owned and subsequently sold two successful landscaping companies in Sarasota, Florida. “Significantly growing the bottom line of businesses and then seeing how they share their abundance is one of the best things about my job,” said Steve, who now lives in Harrison, Arkansas.
When not at Gehman Accounting, Steve serves as pastor of Oasis Church in Harrison. His faith informs his life’s philosophy: “Jesus is at work in business. I believe being a Christian allows me to not be crushed by life’s disappointments.” Steve’s drive to succeed affords him an attitude of continuous improvement, which he uses to guide his clients.
Steve believes that he was put on this earth to be a father and a husband. He is also a devout Arkansas Razorbacks fan and enjoys hunting, competitive archery, biking, and family outings on the lake.
