Steven Lapp works as a tax accountant at Gehman Accounting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Millersville University. While studying for his degree, he interned at Smoker & Company, where he gained valuable experience in tax preparation. He previously worked with a large team at Shady Maple, where he grew his team collaboration and customer service skills.
While studying at Millersville University, Steve was a Marauder Fund Student Investment Association (MFSIA) member, where he and his group managed part of the endowment fund. They brainstormed and researched investment strategies and presented their ideas to their fellow club members and later to the board of trustees. Before transferring to Millersville University, Steven attended Lock Haven University, where he was part of the university’s Professional Business Fraternity (AKP). He participated in the fencing club in his leisure time at the university.
Steven’s life experiences, coupled with his Amish background, shape his life’s philosophy. He affirms that hard work, responsibility, and dedication to your pursuits bring joy. During his teenage years, Steven enjoyed working alongside his father in their family’s greenhouse business and his father’s construction company. When not at work, Steven enjoys sitting down with a good book and enjoys the company of his good friends and family.
