Fred Weaver is a Certified Public Accountant and Enrolled Agent working on the tax team at Gehman Accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and has been licensed as a CPA in Maryland since 1995.
Fred has worked as a tax professional since 1983 focusing on the tax issues relevant to the agricultural community. He started his career as a Farm Consultant with Agway, then worked as a Farm Management Specialist with Farm Credit. In 1999, Fred started his own accounting practice, Weaver Accounting, which merged with Gehman Accounting effective January 1, 2026.
Finding the work rewarding, Fred feels that the best part of it is to know that after all the training and hard work, at some point in the future, a question will come up where his background will be called upon to address a client’s situation.
