Kelly Sensenig works on the bookkeeping team at Gehman Accounting from her home office in Philadelphia. She processes invoicing, bill-paying, reconciling accounts, and facilitates client communication. Kelly is experienced in QuickBooks and is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. She has also successfully completed eight achievement certificates through Accounting Coach.
When Kelly was young, her parents began a small business where she learned about business and bookkeeping by helping in the office. Since then, she has continued working with small businesses. Kelly worked in customer service and bookkeeping for manufacturing, dairy and agricultural, food, construction, and retail businesses.
Kelly values being surrounded by people with different life experiences, skills, and hobbies. She thrives on learning new things on a wide variety of topics. Kelly believes you learn by asking questions if you don’t know or understand something.
Outside of work, Kelly spends time enjoying good food and connecting with people. An avid reader, she participates in several book clubs. When Kelly needs to refresh, she turns off her cell phone and spends time backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. Kelly and her husband live in Philadelphia where they serve as block captains for their neighborhood as well as work with a variety of local ministries.
