Loretta Miller is the Bookkeeping Department Manager at Gehman Accounting. She manages day-to-day operations for both the bookkeepers and clients by answering questions, handling issues and discovery calls, attending numerous meetings, onboarding new accounts, simplifying processes, making decisions, and training and supporting her team in a variety of ways. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has also completed certificates of achievement through Accounting Coach. Being at Gehman Accounting for more than 10 years has provided a "college education" in experience that far exceeds book learning.
Customer service and integrity are high priorities for Loretta. She believes that building good relationships with clients and team members is a key component in her work. Communication is vital in maintaining those relationships and she strives to offer straightforward communication to build a foundation of trust.
Before coming to Gehman Accounting in October 2014, Loretta’s experience included woodworking, babysitting, tutoring, working in a bookstore, bookkeeping and cashiering in a specialty cheese store, and working in a bakery.
While bookkeeping was always a dream job, Loretta enjoys nature and considers capturing the amazing, detailed handiwork of the Creator through photography as therapy. She also enjoys traveling and hopes to visit all 50 states and multiple countries, with her camera in hand. Loretta is an incurable bookworm with an extensive collection of books on a wide range of topics spanning more than a hundred years. A few other things that bring a smile to her face include English teacups and saucers, antiques, and board games. She also dabbles in graphic design, creating calendars, cards, or scrapbooks.
