Ruth Bowman works on the bookkeeping team at Gehman Accounting from her home office in Maryland. She first began employment with Gehman Accounting in 2006, has taken two extended hiatuses since then, and is on her third stint with the company.
Ruth’s prior employment experiences center around secretarial work. She served as secretary at Mountain View Nursing Home in Virginia for two years. Ruth also served as bookkeeper and secretary at Allegany Boys Camp in Maryland for four years. Her love for bookkeeping began at age 13 when she assisted her dad in setting up their dairy farm bookkeeping on a computer. Ruth excels at generating precise work with organization and efficiency.
Outside of work you may find Ruth sewing, gardening, arranging flowers, or baking sourdough products. Her friendly and outgoing personality brings fun and cheer to those who know her.
